Andrew has held senior roles in the Queensland Government in both economic and social portfolios for 30+ years. Andrew has delivered complex policy and complex projects in a highly charged political environment of constant change and has become recognised as a ‘thought leader’ in digital enablement, digital policy development and digital application. Andrew was appointed to the role of Digital Relationship Manager at the Cross River Rail Delivery Authority in March 2021. This role was established to ensure the integration of the digital elements and the data that sits behind that, with the ultimate asset owning agencies. Andrew has been a leading advocate of Building Information Modelling and Strategic Asset Management Planning policy at the Australian level and is currently the Chair of the Australasian BIM Advisory Board. With the recent release of the 2021 Australian Infrastructure Plan by Infrastructure Australia with a focus on digital by default, Andrew will be presenting on how policy change can create real world impacts focusing on the work of Cross River Rail and the opportunities that the Australasian BIM Advisory Board is pursuing.
