About Speaker
Bryan has been working for Transport and Main Roads in its’ various forms for over 50 years. He began his career as a road design draftsman, transitioned into the computer aided design and drafting space installing road design software applications on both UNIX and Windows based computers, and is currently undertaking the role of the Manager Building Information Modelling (BIM) Special Projects. Over the course of his career Bryan has performed a number of leadership roles in the department including: Manager (Design Services) in RoadTek Consulting managing the design unit in the delivery of projects in the Queensland Transport and Roads Investment Program. Manager (Design Systems) delivering ICT and CAD related systems for the road design areas of the department, and Manager (Road Design Community Capability) providing a state-wide vision for the leadership and strategic direction of the Road Design Occupation Group in Transport & Main Roads. Bryan is currently the Manager BIM Special Projects assisting with the implementation of Building Information Modelling (BIM) into TMR.
